Julie Allen
Senior Trial Manager
I have worked in the PC-CTU since June 2012, starting as a clinical trial co-ordinator on the RCT2 Trial. Since then I have worked on a number of CTIMPS and non CTIMPs within the Cardiovascular and Infections Themes.
Most recently I have been part of the senior team leading on the implementation and delivery of the PANORAMIC Trial. PANORAMIC is a UK-Wide trial looking at novel antivirals for early treatment of Covid-19 in the community. My role is to lead the Trial Management team and to work with external stakeholders to ensure that PANORAMIC meets all planned milestones. This requires flexibility and agility given the size and speed of the trial.
Before I joined PC-CTU I worked for a number of years in research governance and study performance management for Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust and the local Clinical Research Networks.
