  Offering up to £20,000 funding to experience research within established teams. Perfect for health, care and public health professionals wanting to combine clinical practice with research. Supports salary backfill, training, and supervision costs for up to 12 months.

• Research into practice awards 2025: building research into your health and care role

  Providing £10,000 (plus £1,500 supervision costs) to support various research pathways including research delivery, implementation, and knowledge mobilisation. Ideal for those looking to develop research skills alongside their current role.

• Research Career Development Awards 2025: Preparing for NIHR Funding Success

  Supporting ambitious researchers to develop competitive applications for NIHR career development schemes. Covers salary costs, mentoring, training, and public involvement activities. Open to healthcare professionals, social work and public health professionals, methodologists, and local authority researchers.

• Community Nurse Research in practice internship 2025: building research skills in health and care

  Providing £20,000 (plus £1,500 supervision costs) between ARC OxTV and ARC NENC to support a community nurse looking to develop research skills alongside their current role.

• Evaluation support

  Are you currently planning or considering completing an evaluation? The NIHR ARC OxTV may be able to help. We offer an evaluation service, which ranges from drop in clinics to more in-depth support.

• ARC OxTV Internships

  The NIHR ARC OxTV periodically offers research internships to people working in health and care, social care and public health. Applications for 2023 are now closed
