Evaluation of the PROSPER Online Learning Course
PROSPER (Prevention of Shoulder Problems) is a physiotherapy-led exercise plan that improves shoulder function. We've created an online course to train physiotherapists to deliver the PROSPER programme, designed for people at risk of shoulder problems after breast cancer treatment.
Our goal is to assess if physiotherapists can effectively learn and implement the programme in their clinical practice. We're enrolling 50 physiotherapists and evaluating their confidence and capability to deliver PROSPER, as well as tracking their implementation intentions.
Our course is a 4-week online program. Learner's feedback will help us refine the course. The updated course will be accessible in early 2024 on our own in-house platform. We aim to improve evidence-based rehabilitation for breast cancer patients by providing this training to physiotherapists, enhancing patient care and quality of life. Our project has involved patients from the beginning, ensuring their perspectives shape the programme.
