NIHR ARC Thames Valley seeks expressions of interest for Theme Leads and Co-Leads to shape our 2026-2031 research programme. Join us in developing innovative, inclusive health and care research that makes a real difference. Deadline: 10th December.

The NIHR Applied Research Collaboration Thames Valley is preparing its application for the NIHR ARC 2024 competition.

As part of this process, we are seeking expressions of interest for Theme Leads and Co-Leads to help shape and deliver our research programme for 2026-2031.

We are looking for innovative and collaborative leaders who can help drive our vision of conducting exceptional, inclusive research that changes policy and practice. Our proposed themes include:

  • Start Well - Maternal health and early years, child and adolescent mental health
  • Live Well - Lifestyle and prevention, Keeping people in work
  • Age Well - Multiple long-term conditions, dementia and social care
  • Knowledge Mobilisation and Implementation

Plus cross-cutting themes:

  • Health Economics and Real-World Data/Data Informatics
  • Health Equity and Inclusion
  • Prevention and parity of mental and physical health

Available Roles

Both roles require a commitment of 0.5 days per week (0.1 FTE) and will be based in the Thames Valley region.
